The Pull to the Hole

We are in an incredibly interesting time in many ways, and that includes spiritually. There is a strong temptation to embrace the defeat that seems to be falling on us, trying to weigh us all down. Many of us assume that we do not have the power to change things, and we may believe that even God is not powerful enough. I challenge this lie.

We were created with God's power dwelling in us. Defeat is not in our name! Today is not our stopping place. The enemy lies to us, creating an illusion that we lack the authority given to us by God. However, we are in a moment of rebirth. God is shifting and changing the pieces on the board like a chess game. Quite often, we don't see the future plays, and we may not understand what is going on, but we know that He wins in the end.

What does this have to do with you?

It has everything to do with you.

We look around for the powerful One to come forth and change things for us instead of asking the Lord how He can use us. We should take time in prayer to ask what divine place we hold in life. How can we partner and move to action to participate in "Your will be done on Earth?"

I wonder what life would look like if we each begin to shift and move in the rhythm of His dance and not our own. Imagine each person moving to the heavenly song that God sings over us instead of being tempted to ignore or even fight the music.

These are the things that keep me up at night and on my knees in the morning. Once you experience God's presence, you long for more and for everyone around you to have the same. I guess that's why this ministry started. Joanna Snow Ministries is my heart being lived out tangibly and building connection with the world around me on a much larger scale. I spend my days immersed in people's worlds and journeys, seeing the ache for something they don't know is missing: Him, Our Creator and the Lover of our souls. I long with every breath for the world around me to have the same sweetness and understanding as I do. It's fulfilling and life-giving! There is nowhere else this heart of mine longs to be. It's an infatuation with the God of the universe. I am in over my head in love with our Lord and His heart.

I guess today's post is more about an invitation to my mind and my heart, a deeper introduction to who I am and what's important to me. I often wonder where this longing started, a longing for the world to know who God is. It was probably a prayer that sparked this immersive fire inside of me. A prayer of, Lord, let my heart beat with yours, and may I love as you do. Be careful what you ask for!

I want to encourage you to go after more of what God aches to give you! Do not settle for the lies of defeat or the invitation to the pit of despair, but look towards heaven and see that God sits on the throne. He is filled with power and is looking for us to join our hearts with His heart to bring heaven to earth. He wants to invade our space with a presence and love more amazing than we could ever ask for! You are cherished by Him and are truly a gift to the world around YOU!! Go forth in LOVE!!
