Joanna is a creative force.  She uses words as instruments to bring ideas alive in the mind of the hearer. Her practical analogies allow people to see situations in relatable terms, helping them grow in understanding. She brings an apostolic, joyful, and resonating presence to her speaking, words filled with a combination of experience through ministry, counseling and study.  Because of her many years serving in ministry in various leadership capacities, her love for relationships, Joanna has a deep love for church growth and health.

She has her Bachelor’s in Religion with a minor in Christian Counseling and her Master’s in Professional Counseling both from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervising Counselor in the state of Alabama. Joanna has a thriving private counseling practice in Downtown Mobile, Alabama, where she specializes in relationships, trauma and spiritual struggles. She also supervises a team of graduate level interns that provide reduced-fee Mental Health Counseling to help meet the needs of the community. They now are able to reach all age groups from children to adults, and couples.

She grew up in a large family in Southern California. Later God called her and her husband to Alabama where they currently reside with their children and grandchildren.
