Peter Wagner Publication Date: 2015 Biggest takeaway: Looking at scripture, we see that when God sent his armies to take cities, they didn’t just target a few people. They conquered the entire city. We need to look at things the same way, but with spiritual weapons, not physical ones. Transformation in an area starts not with just going around trying to convert people sporadically. We have to understand the history of the place. Often, what we see in the physical can be a manifestation of what we see in the spiritual. If we can get an understanding of that, we may be able to pray in ways that will more readily soften hearts. Who should read this book? Everybody! It gives us perspective. But I especially recommend it to people who are called to intercession. It helps those who are praying understand the walls they may be coming up against.
