Celebrating PentecostYesterday was Pentecost, a day recognized on the fiftieth day after Passover. This was the day that the disciples received the gift of the Holy Spirit for the first time. They were in Jerusalem, wondering, waiting, possibly even pouting. But their waiting paid off with the sound of a mighty rushing wind. Here we are, more than 2000 years later, still benefitting from the blessings of the Holy Spirit. And, like the disciples, when we seek God, we may wonder, wait, or even pout. If you are in a seeking season, let us recommend some songs about the Holy Spirit that you can listen to while you wait. Holy Spirit Worship Songs Our prayer is that you have a continual fresh encounter. That you do not settle for stagnation but long for more. Pentecost, we believe, is a powerful time to remember the work that God has done and continues to do. We also encourage you to watch a message that Joanna recently taught called “The Invitation to More.” It is focused on the time leading up to Acts 2.
